Ensign Kenni Branon was aware of the Kelpian's arrival yesterday but he had decided to give Drevas an extra day to settle in before he went and bothered him with the need for a medical. Well, its been that extra day and now he went to activate his Com-Badge and call for Lt. Drevas. "Ensign Branon to Lieutenant Drevas" He said.

"Speaking." For six hours in a row Drevas had buried himself in his new office reading everythung he could get his hands on - mostly personnel files, of course, in addition to the station's past after-action reports. As scintillating as reading could sometimes be, even that had a limit. The ensign's call was a welcome distraction. "How may I help you, ensign?" If he had to guess, the ensign was probably the head nurse or someone else in a similar position wanting him to come for his checkup - which he knew would need to happen eventually, but still.

"Hello Sir, I am the Senior-Most Medical Officer aboard Starbase K-13 currently. I am wanting to know if you are free to come to the Medical Bay for your routine medical as per Starfleet Protocol after you have been re-assigned somewhere." Branon said with a slight caution that could be heard in his voice. Kenni knew how people could be when it came to medicals, especially Senior Staff. He always had difficulties getting them down here for there simple routine checkups. Especially that slippery Commander Cache.

"I'll be there shortly." Drevas rose and departed his office without further complaint. Medical officers' lives were hard enough more often than not; he'd never been one to want to give them trouble.

Finding his way to sickbay wasn't difficult; simply asking where it was and following the computer's provided directions was easy enough. He glanced round sickbay as he walked in. It was no different to most sickbays he'd been in, really, save maybe the lack of people - but then again that was to be expected, wasn't it?

Noticing the Kelpian walk in, Ensign Branon hurried over to where he was standing. "Thank you for coming, Sir. This won't take long" He guided Drevas into the Exam room where a nurse was getting supplies together. Kenni closed the door behind them. He started with taking the Kelpian's temperature, checking his eyes and vision, his speech and listening, his reflexes, his alien physiology, and finally, ended with taking some routine blood tests which all came back negative for anything. "Well, as far as I can tell, you are healthier than a pig in snot" Chuckling at his old-timey reference. "Is there any medical history you would like to tell me about? Remember, anything you say here is strictly confidential of course."

"Nothing that one won't find in my patient's file, as far as I can remember." Drevas stated. He really did have to applaud Branon and his team for being so expedient - some medical teams weren't nearly as efficient as they had been. "And that twisted ankle I sustained while playing basketball at Starfleet Security HQ. I believe lieutenant Phrin should have entered that into my file."

"Yes, I do see that here. Any problems with that ankle since your accident?" He asked empathetically, waiting patiently for a reply.

"None at all - thanks to lieutenant Phrin and their team, of course." Drevas quipped. "Will that be all?"

"Yes Sir, you may leave now! Thank you for coming and seeing me and getting this out of the way. I won't have to come track you down now" He laughed wholeheartedly.

Kenni went back to his earlier paperwork he was working on in his MO's office while Drevas left the Medical bay.
